Chicago Bears Jermon Bushrod To Host 4th Annual “Visualize & Rize” Celebrity Charity Weekend

RICHMOND, Va. - May 13, 2014 - PRLog -- (King George, VA) Chicago Bears second year Offensive Tackle, six year veteran of the New Orleans Saints, and King George local, Jermon Bushrod will host his highly touted annual “Visualize & Rize” Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament and Football camp on Friday and Saturday June 13^th and 14^th. Each year, both of these exciting and sell-out events have rapidly gained support and popularity! To date, they are two of the biggest events in the King George area of the year! Proceeds go toward the Visualize and Rize Foundation, a 501 (C)(3) organization whose mission is:

To support youth sports and education programs, to enable students and provide them with the necessary tools to facilitate them to reach their full potential and more.

The Golf Tournament, brought to you by Radley Chevrolet and Cadillac, will take place at Cameron Hills Golf Course, located at: 14140 Salem Church Road, King George, VA 22485. Registration for the first flight is at 7:00 am with an 8:00 am shotgun start, and 12:00 pm for the second flight with a 2:00 pm shotgun start. The tournament is open to the public with registration available for individuals ($100), pairs ($200), or teams ($400).

The annual sell-out golf tournament has donated over $85,000 through the past three years to local youth programs including the King George High School football program (Bushrod is an alumnus), the King George YMCA, and in the form of book scholarships to graduating student-athletes from King George High School and six other high schools in the surrounding counties.

The free football camp for ages 6-14, will occur Saturday June 14^th at 10:00 am at King George High School, 10100 Foxes Way, King George, VA 22485. The camp is designed to build character and to instruct players in the basic fundamentals of football. Emphasis will be placed on positioning, skills, and overall knowledge of the game.

Celebrity athletes to attend in addition to Bushrod include Chicago Bears Roberto Garza and Matt Slauson, Carolina Panthers Roman Harper, Baltimore Ravens Torrey Smith and Gerrard Sheppard, San Francisco 49ers Jonathan Goodwin, New York Jets Johnny Patrick, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Carl Nicks. The Visualize and Rize Foundation was established in 2010 by 2-time Pro Bowler, Super Bowl XLIV winner, six-year veteran of the New Orleans Saints, and current Chicago Bear Jermon Bushrod, and his father Jerry Bushrod through a passionate desire to give back to the communities that have helped shape the individual that he is today.

During the year, The Visualize & Rize Foundation hosts a variety of community events such as a youth football camp (in its 5^th consecutive year), an annual Visualize & Rize Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament and a fashion show (Chicago).
