PRLog - May 13, 2014 - DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Saturday, June 14 from 11:00am – 2:00pm, North Carolina Auxiliary of Wives Behind the Badge, Inc. will be hosting a Barbecue Benefit for Sgt. Ronnie Foster with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. Sgt. Ronnie Foster was diagnosed with throat cancer, and despite numerous rounds of chemotherapy, he had his larynx removed. After all of this personal hardship, Sgt. Foster is still dedicated to serving his community and is actively employed with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office and volunteers with M.A.D.D. He was recently applauded for his dedication by being awarded Crime-stoppers Officer of the Year.
Sgt. Foster BBQ Benefit
Let’s help out Sgt. Foster and give back to someone who has given so much for us. Admission to the event is free and donations will be accepted benefiting Sgt. Foster and his family during his healthy recovery. Silent auction prizes and gift card raffles will be on hand, as well as hot dog lunches from $2-$5 each. Bring the kids! Because after enjoying some grill food, they can participate in face painting and inflatable bounce houses sponsored by FrontLine Designs. Cash Only Please.
Donations from businesses and private donors are still being accepted for the silent auction. For more information contact Teresa with North Carolina Wives Behind the Badge at northcarolina.auxiliary@
