Dave and Lynne Lister at X-Press Legal's New Home.
And Managing Director Lynne Lister and her director husband David agreed that their spacious new headquarters was the ideal location for one of Britain’s fastest growing property search companies.
The £6.5 million turnover company which was founded 14 years ago has also invested £70,000 into a new ultra-modern computerised telephone system and state of the art IT equipment for its 16 strong head office staff.
“This really is a 21st century headquarters which gives this business room to grow,” said Director and founder of the business, Dave Lister. “The staff love the location because it is equally easy to get into town or to hit the motorway. But most of all they love the light and space.”
Managing Director Lynne Lister, who led the search for new premises said: “Our old head office in Rylands Street had been convenient for the town centre but had become increasingly cramped as the business grew. Parking had also been an issue. We knew we had to move to somewhere more spacious but it had to be the right place.
“Olympic Park is modern, bright and airy and the staff are delighted to be here. This location will also be more convenient for visitors thanks to its out of town location and convenient free parking facilities.”
However Dave Lister believes the move to a more modern and spacious location could not have come at a better time.
He explained: “We are currently going through a very significant period of growth partly because of the housing boom that has gripped parts of the country and partly because of our increased marketing activity through our ‘Law Plain and Simple’ website.
“We are currently receiving more inquiries than ever for our services with growing demand for property searches by busy conveyancers. But we are also having more visits from lawyers throughout the UK because of our mission to help the public gain a better understanding of the basics of the law through our free-to-
“The end result is that the X-Press Legal brand now has a higher profile than ever, so it seems perfectly appropriate to upgrade our head office for the benefit of staff, customers and visitors.”
