Cloud, Web Hosting, IaaS Leader Superb Internet Corp. Brings on Duane Albro as CEO

Albro was brought onboard to expand the company’s cloud hosting, network and data center services.

Superb Internet Corp. is embarking on a major growth push that capitalizes on current market successes while expanding cloud services and increasing its enterprise client base, both on the network and facility as well as cloud/IaaS side. Customer successes in finance, healthcare and legal markets helped refine solutions for those industries and primed the company for immediate market share expansion in these verticals. Albro will help grow the current line of products and services, increase customer satisfaction, and build a world-class set of cloud-based applications including Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS).

Albro is a highly experienced CEO with expertise in implementing transformational growth strategies. Recently, as CEO of a New York Stock Exchange-traded regional telephone company, he led the company’s transformation into the ninth largest cloud communications company in the United States.

Albro has extensive leadership experience, having served in CEO/COO-level positions at a cellular phone refurbisher; a cable TV operator; a telecommunications service provider; and a Fortune 10 telecommunications company. He also provided strategic consulting services to investors of all sizes, ranging from top ten investment banks to boutique private equity firms. He served on a White House National Advisory Council on Technology in Education, and has provided testimony to the U.S. Congress on the benefits of technology used in education. Currently, Albro serves on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – National Technology and E-Commerce Committee.

In the past, Albro served as a board member for New York Medical College, New York Institute of Technology, Empire State College, Purchase College, and the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor. Duane is a member of American Mensa Society and holds a BS in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and an MBA from New York Institute of Technology. Albro also completed Executive Management Programs at the University of Virginia - Darden School, and the University of Pennsylvania - Wharton School.
