It's been more than a year and a half since Sandy slammed into the East Coast, yet many people whose homes were destroyed are still trying to put the pieces back together. Their new four-bedroom, three-and-a- "Too many homes were destroyed because they couldn't withstand high water and strong winds," said Ed Walters, Jr., founder and partner of Walters Group. "We've seen a tremendous response from homeowners who want to mitigate future damage by rebuilding homes that meet the new flood zone regulations." And although "ReBUILD's price couldn't be beat, the most important thing for us was the workmanship," ReBUILD Offers 39 Home Designs ReBUILD allows home shoppers to choose from 39 single-family home designs, specifically crafted for their property. The one- and two-story home plans feature three and four bedrooms, ranging from 500 sq. ft. to 2,293 sq. ft., and are priced from $75,705. As an added value, the homes are Energy Star-certified and offer a long list of standard interior and exterior amenities including energy-efficient appliances, ample lighting and HVAC systems. ReBUILD's mission is to raise construction standards so that in flood prone areas a house is built the right way and above the flood elevations according to Walters. The developer also works closely with homeowners to assist with permitting, financing, and more. Two ReBUILD sales offices are now open.
