Austin Resident Publishes Life Story for Children

May 12, 2014 - PRLog -- RINGGOLD, Ga. – Lindaura DaSilva, an Austin, Texas, resident, recently published a children’s chapter book titled Beneath the Cashew Tree.

The book chronicles her life growing up on a cacao farm in Brazil as the youngest of seven children. The title of the book was inspired by the cashew tree in the author’s front yard, which she climbed in and played and dreamed under.

Beneath the Cashew Tree draws readers into the story of the Justo family and the Good Vision Farm. It is a story of harvest time and thieves, of hard work and sacrifice, and the comfort of home.

DaSilva grew up in Brazil, but now lives in Austin, Texas, where she works in the finance division for the Texas Department of Transportation.

Beneath the Cashew Tree is published by TEACH Services, and is available through the publisher’s Web site (www.TEACHServices.com), Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or local bookstores by request.

For more information or to schedule an interview with the author, media professionals may contact Alison Lopez-Ramirez at marketing@teachservices.com.
