Film, Television And Video Game Composer Mark Roos Honored With HMMA Nomination In Visual Media

LOS ANGELES - May 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Award-winning film, television and video game composer Mark Roos received a Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) nomination in Visual Media for his score featured in the “Michael Port Think Big Revolution” commercial ad.

Winners will be announced at the 7th Annual HMMA ceremony on Thursday, November 20, 2014. The event recognizes and honors the music of visual mediums such as film, TV, video games, and music videos; the talented artists involved in those areas; as well as mainstream and independently produced music from around the world.

“I’m honored to be nominated for an HMMA, and proud that my work on the ‘Michael Port Think Big Revolution,’ is being recognized,” Roos said. “I’m so glad that I was a part of a movement that has helped so many people determine who they are and what they offer the world.”

Roos, a composer for more than 25 years, has scored music for “Wing and a Prayer: The Saga of ‘Utah Man’”; “The Spear and The Lion: The British Zulu War”; “God’s Square Mile”; “The Vermeers”; “The Healer’s Art”; “John Hopkins”; “Look Changers,” and many more.
