She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Wake Forest University, Babcock Graduate School of Management in 1990.  Mary was a founding member of the recolonized chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority, Beta Tau Chapter at the University of Florida.
