MENLO PARK, Calif., May 9, 2014 – On Saturday, May 10, Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park will host their annual “Kick-a-Thon”
The Kick-a-Thon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., during which students will kick continuously for a goal of 1000 kicks each.. A mini-Carnival with food, games, bounce house, and more will follow, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Over the past month, students of the martial arts school have asked friends and family members to pledge donations for the number of kicks they can achieve. The community is invited to watch the students fulfill their kick goals and is encouraged to participate in the fun activities that will follow.
“Over the years, this has become a family favorite event,” says Kristin Quintana, owner and chief instructor at Kuk Sool Won. “Our students to learn that they can make a difference in the community, and everyone really enjoys the challenge of the kick-a-thon.”
