The 120 attendees included Career Technology Education (CTE) teachers, administrators, and counselors from middle schools, high schools, ROC/Ps, community colleges, and universities, and industry members.
Presentations included best practices in Industrial and Technology Education. The State Conference included workshops and seminars on the best pedagogical practices in Alternative Energy, Automotive, Construction, Green Construction, Drafting, Solar, STEM, Welding, and Woodworking.
“The purpose of this conference was to connect Industrial and Technology teachers with other teachers and industry partners. Cerritos College was a great place to make these connections and sharing happen. It was a great event!" said Richard Nicholson, CITEA Southern Section Chairperson.
