Intercontinental At Doral Miami Honors 100th Anniversary Of Mother’s Day With Photo Contest

DORAL, Fla. - May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- InterContinental at Doral Miami will honor moms this Mother’s Day and celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the holiday with a social media photo contest on May 11, 2014. In 1914, U.S. President Woodrow Wilson signed Mother’s Day into law, and InterContinental^® at Doral Miami will host a women’s fashion hat contest to pay homage to the iconic and stylish staple that adorned women during this era.

In order to enter the Hats off to Moms contest, mothers must wear their most fabulous new or vintage hat to brunch at InterContinental at Doral Miami and share a photo of themselves wearing it on the hotel’s Twitter account or Facebook page using the special hashtag #HatsOfftoMomsMIADOR. The lady adorning the most iconic hat during the brunch will win a $100 gift certificate to the hotel’s restaurant and $200 American Express^® gift card.

The hotel staff will select one mother to win the grand prize and will use the Twitter handle or Facebook username of the uploaded photo to notify the winner on May 12.
