He and his wife of 33 years, Rita, moved to Coppell in December of 1999 from DeSoto after some 24 years where they were active in both church and community activities. Ron has had the pleasure of serving as Chairman on the Board of Adjustments for the City of Desoto and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the First United Methodist Church.
Giving back to the community is important for Ron and Rita, a contribution to the Children’s Miracle Network, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the American Diabetes Association is made from his transactions. The Hoenigs have also been long time volunteers in Choices International, a life training seminar. Ron and Rita are members of the First Methodist Church of Coppell and Rita has served as a board member on several boards for the City of Coppell and Coppell Women’s Club.
