WENATCHEE, Wash. - May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- ApRecs Scout™ will give the PSP (Packer, Shipper, Processor)  the ability to estimate harvest dates, volume and quality as well as track certain fields’ events from a web-enabled smartphone or tablet. ApRecs Scout will be a component of the ApRecs PSP Association & Awareness Package, Module #3. Pre-release (BETA) is anticipated on or before May 14th, 2014 with orientation that morning via an online discussion format.

This will give our processor partners the ability to estimate harvest dates, volume and quality as well as track certain field events from a web-enabled smartphone or tablet. The information also connects fieldmen and growers to avoid PHI Conflicts and can be cross-tabulated to determine production run and market compliance with volume, quality and date.

To accelerate adoption and implementation, Scout will be introduced via the ApRecs Packer Café (http://packercafe.com/) (http://packercafe.com).  The Packer Café is an online discussion forum for participating Packers, Shippers and Processor (PSP). The participating PSPs, ApRecs Staff and other industry veterans submit ideas, comment on discussions and share their experiences. Drew Zabrocki, Manager Director of ApRecs says, “The Packer Café provides us added insights over a diverse group that enables to accelerate PSPs adoption and implementation of products. ApRecs Scout is particularly well suited for this type of entry since it expands the use of ApRecs and creates ways to use our product over many facets of a PSP enterprise.”

Registered participants will be able to attend on May 14th at 8:00 AM for a cup of virtual coffee at the PackerCafe.com, and learn about ApRecs Scout™. Participants will receive the pre-release version.

ApRecs provides simple to use, food safety record keeping solutions so that Growers can focus on growing, Packers can ship to market quickly and Marketers can be reassured of a compliant product. Our solutions include an online website, mobile apps and paper forms that make it easy to track spray records, applicators, and equipment and location maps in a simple and secure manner.  Our software is built to read reports from the leading Recommendation and Application Record keeping applications so you don’t have to manually re-key data. Further, the data analysis module allows for receiving, processing and post-harvest data to be included, analyzed and reported in near-real-time.
