A Day at the Races for VisionQuest

RALEIGH, N.C. - May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- On Saturday, May 5^th 2014, team members from VisionQuest Wealth Management gathered with staff, boarders, and friends of Whispering Hope Stables to view the 140^th running of the Kentucky Derby.  The fete was held at the Crown Lounge at Whispering Hope Stables, a top horse boarding facility located just minutes from downtown Raleigh whose mission is to provide an exclusive sanctuary for equestrian athletes and their discerning owners.  Attendees were festooned in Derby attire ranging from seersucker for the men to grand hats for the ladies.  Mint Juleps, the official drink of the Kentucky Derby, were served made with fresh mint sourced from a local garden.  The event raised funds for the local charity Sara Making a Difference, a local non-profit founded by an elementary student with the goal of becoming more involved with local charities and helping those in need.  After watching the thrilling victory of California Chrome there was a hat contest for the ladies after which guests enjoyed time with each other and touring the grounds.
