GCG Construction, Inc. Receives 2014 Breakthrough Business Award

FORT MYERS, Fla. - May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- GCG Construction, Inc. (GCG), an Estero based general contractor, was honored by Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. at a luncheon held at the Harborside Event Center. The event was held on May 7, 2014 during which GCG Construction, Inc. was awarded the 2013 Breakthrough Business and was presented to owners, Lerin and Teely Byrd, by Rick Evanchyk, COO. This annual event serves to recognize local businesses and members of the community that are making a difference and overcoming barriers. GCG Construction, Inc. began working on their first project with Goodwill, the renovation of the Arbor Gate location, in May 2010. GCG Construction, Inc. is currently working on their 8th project with Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. and recently completed the 100,000+ sf renovation of their corporate headquarters, the Goodwill Opportunity Center in Fort Myers.
