CreativesBash4 will kick off at 4:30 p.m. with an educational presentation on the ins and outs of responsive web design presented by Iwerk Software Development. The speakers will include David Gudlaugsson from iwerk’s Detroit office and April Young from iwerk’s Dallas office. The presentation will provide an overview of responsive web design including the benefits of having this type of site, common practices to adopt, how to begin implementing responsive design into new sites, how to restructure existing sites to gain these benefits, case studies, and lots of great examples.
Happy hour will be from 5 to 8 p.m. The event will then transition into a fierce ‘Battle of the Designers’ where designers will be competing head-to-head in 15 minute heats. The designers will be judged and eliminated until there is just one left standing. Attendees can watch as the designers work away on their designs on large flat screens as the clock ticks down and vote for the final winner via text.
Held at the House of Blues in downtown Dallas, pre-registration is $25 and will increase to $35 at the door. Along with admission to this event, the entry fee includes a drink ticket and hors d’oeuvres, with Happy Hour starting at 5:30 pm.
