CareLuLu, a Child Care Search Tool, Expands to Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill

DURHAM, N.C. - May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- CareLuLu, a free website that helps parents find child care tailored to their family's specific needs, has just expanded into the Raleigh - Durham - Chapel Hill area. After a successful start in the Washington DC metro, CareLuLu has expanded its full platform to connect parents and child care providers in the Triangle area.

Nine months ago, founders Patrick Matos, Evgeniya Usmanova and Gabriel Marques unveiled their robust platform and personalized search tool in the greater Washington DC area child care market. As parents themselves, they know how difficult and time consuming it is to find the right daycare. To simplify the process, they built a free platform to help parents quickly find and compare options. After successfully helping hundreds of parents in the DC region, CareLuLu was accepted in March 2014 into The Startup Factory, a Durham-based startup accelerator. CareLuLu’s founders thus decided to extend their service to Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and other nearby cities, including Cary, Apex, etc. The Triangle area is the second market where CareLuLu offers its personalized child care search tool.

Daycare profiles on CareLuLu offer in-depth information on child care providers, such as tuition costs, details on the program, facilities, services and staff experience. Child care options covered include home daycares, child care centers and preschools. All North Carolina profiles on http://www.CareLuLu.com, only include regulated child care providers that have received the necessary safety training, background checks and whom undergo regular unannounced inspections.

For parents outside of the greater Raleigh - Durham area and Washington DC metropolitan area, CareLuLu offers a nationwide child care directory which lists information on over 200,000 child care providers across the US.
