ResCogitans.de is Going International

The german interactive and reader based online-newspaper for philosophy, politics and economics is going to release an english version.

May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- ResCogitans.de is a german interactive and reader based online-newspaper for politics, philosophy and economics. It is interactive and reader based in a way that readers can contribute to the plattform by writing and publishing articles and storys on their own. It also consists of an online forum for philosophy and a facebook page. Its connected to social media and various partners. The founder is a student in philosophy.

Now ResCogitans.de is going International. Sources admit that Res Cogitans is indeed planning to publish a translated version of the webpage and the forum for philosophy in the english language. As some people say, this is the next step to a wider discourse, that is not only based on continental philosophy like hegel, foucault and poststructuralists but also on analytical philosophy, logic and the profound and deep versions of english and us-american attempts of finding solutions for the complex problems of beeing and truth. The translated version should go online in 2015. The philosophy in germany is in some kind narrow and not well supported, because the departments of philosophy are small and there are not that many. This might be the cause for the fact, that german philosophers are trying to publish and read in english and join the international scientific community, wich is able to work at a wide range and with deep arguments and methodological issues. So it's a natural consequence, that ResCogitans.de is going international, too.
