deVere Group names Greg Stockton as Head of deVere’s Africa Division

LONDON - May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- deVere Group, one of the world’s largest independent financial advisory organisations, has today announced the appointment of Greg Stockton as Manager of its Africa operations.

Mr Stockton takes over from Craig Featherby who stepped down from the role after 10 years on 30th April due to health issues.

Having started with deVere as a Business Coordinator in 2003, Mr Stockton’s career trajectory has seen him progress to Consultant, Senior Financial Consultant, Area Manager and Senior Area Manager.  He has been based in various deVere Group offices including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Dubai and Qatar.

Now, as deVere Africa’s Manager, he will be responsible for 11 offices and lead a team of more than 250 people across the continent. Mr Stockton, who starts his new position with immediate effect, will report directly to deVere Group’s founder and chief executive, Nigel Green.

Mr Stockton, who has a wife and a young daughter, will be based in deVere’s office in Cape Town.
