Avon Industrial Park Cleanup Day

AVON, Mass. - May 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Bob Costa, President of the Avon Industrial Park Association (AIPA), announced today that AIPA will hold their annual "clean up the park" day on Saturday May 10 from 9 am. until 12 pm.

Costa noted that everyone should meet in the parking lot of Logan Furniture, 1 Kiddie Drive by 9:00 where supplies will be distributed.

"Volunteers are welcome," said Costa, "in fact, the more people that can participate the better the outcome."

For those that cannot participate, any donations would be welcome to help defray expenses. Food and beverages would be especially welcome, as would paper goods, etc.

All businesses and employees in the park are invited to attend; membership is not required. A barbeque will follow at BC Tent for all participants.

While membership in AIPA is not required, Costa noted that new members are always welcome. The AIPA is currently working to increase awareness in the local and state political processes, especially concerning legislation affecting business.

The event is being coordinated with a town-wide cleanup the same day; those participants will meet at Town Hall at 8 am.
