Landmark Home Warranty Enters Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. - May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Oregon is the newest state added to Landmark Home Warranty's regional offering of home warranties. Landmark was founded in 2005 in Utah, and over the last several years expanded to Idaho, Arizona, Texas, and now Oregon. Their plan is to eventually expand nationwide, with the intention to enter new states strategically without compromising the quality of their service and sustainability of the company.

"The long term plan is to build a solid foundation where we are and then use that to expand nationwide," said Chris Smith, President of Landmark Home Warranty. "It's important for us to be financially secure and keep overhead in line. We do this by setting aside enough cash reserves to cover any claims over the full term of a contract. We know our employees, their families, and our clients depend on us being financially secure today and in the future."

Landmark uses hundreds of local contractors throughout Oregon to provide their warranty services. "Our contractors are carefully selected and closely monitored to ensure they offer the promised Landmark service," said Kurt Brey, Contractor Relations Director for Landmark.

Landmark Home Warranty also placed three local full-time representatives to support Oregon Realtors and Escrow Officers, and their mutual clients. Summer Sweaney is the Idaho/Oregon Regional Manager. Tricia Borgen covers Northern Oregon, and Jolene Stephenson Western Oregon. Between the three, they visit real estate and title offices throughout the state.

Landmark Home Warranty is a licensed member of the National Home Service Contract Association, and a bonded and insured member of the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board (license number 201633).
