Over the course of the past six months, we've taken a good, hard look at how we help raise money for critical causes and we came to some conclusions.
“At Care To Click, we want a website that allows people to make big impacts with small internet actions,” Care To Click founder Tracilyn Scala said. “While our initial website design was fantastic, we knew some relatively small changes would make it easier for our members to make an impact for their causes.”
The most noticeable change is to our website design – and users will recognize the improvement immediately. While the old look served us well, the new design is cleaner and more modern. It's also created with our users in mind, so it loads faster and is easier to navigate.
The basic concept of the website remains the same – simple actions like donating a free click, posting a message on Facebook or Tweeting about a cause prompts our donations to the causes our members care about most.
The speed with which CareToClick.com loads is greatly improved on mobile devices, which are increasingly the main conduit members are using to access our site.
While the site remains intuitive, new visitors will also find added navigational aides to guide them through the process and help them support the cause of their choice.
We are also attempting to add more transparency, so that all visitors know immediately which organizations benefit from their actions”
“We've received a ton of positive feedback from our users, but there are always some improvements that can be made to any new site,” Scala said. “We've listened to our users' suggestions and made some positive changes based on their great ideas.”
The new CareToClick.com design wouldn't have been possible without the continued dedication of our members.
Simply put, the site continues to grow. In 2013 alone Care To Click users helped vaccinate more than 1,000 children, supply more than a ton-and-a-half of pet food and preserve nearly 2 million square feet of wildlife habitat.
In 2014, we expect to make an even bigger impact. Up until now, most visitors have found the Care To Click site via word of mouth. Now that the site redesign is complete, Care To Click will increase its marketing presence on the internet with the goal of helping more people impact the causes close to their hearts.
