Bradley O. Whitaker Joins Present Value Properties and Heads Up New Utah Office

TUSTIN, Calif. - May 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Present Value Properties, Inc., a full service retail real estate brokerage and consulting firm headquartered in Tustin, Calif., announced today that retail real estate veteran Bradley O. Whitaker has joined Present Value Properties as Executive Vice President. In this position, he will expand and provide leadership to investment acquisitions and sales, partner development and self-development opportunities. Present Value Properties has been very active in the Utah market for many years, and Whitaker will provide the firm with a much stronger presence in the intermountain area by opening the firm's first Utah office.

Whitaker has served in various corporate development roles over his 30+ year career including most recently serving as the Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Station Development for Transfuels LLC (a developer of Liquid Natural Gas stations nationally). Previously, he was President and CEO of The Whitaker Group, Inc. (a regional shopping center developer), Chief Development Officer for Panda Express during its explosive growth moving the company from 50 locations to 1,200, as well as Vice President of Development or other senior management positions for YUM Brands (KFC and Pizza Hut), CKE Restaurants (Carl’s Jr.), and Marriott Hotels.

During his career, Whitaker has procured more than 1,800 restaurants, 75 hotels, 50 shopping centers, and other commercial real estate projects and ventures. Whitaker has developed in almost all the major markets in the United States and many internationally.

Whitaker holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance and Organizational Behavior from California Coast University. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and holds the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) industry designation. He has taught Economics and Business Strategy at Utah Valley University and was awarded the Adjunct Instructor of the Year in 2012. He is a member of the National Organization of Franchise Executives, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and American Marketing Association (AMA).
