The new centre – known as BodyHQ and based on Minerva Avenue in Chester – is owned and managed by well-respected personal trainer Chris Chan, who is looking to offer anyone using BodyHQ more than the normal gym experience.
“BodyHQ does exactly what the name implies,” said Chris. “It looks after the health and wellbeing of all gym-goers whether they are experienced or complete beginners to fitness and exercise. The gym has a friendly, local feel to it but the level of expertise and knowledge available is more like that of a commercial health club. We want to help members get fit for life and learn about nutrition as well as giving them a place to work out.”
Chris previously had his premises in Flint in North Wales and has studied with many of the world’s leading fitness and nutrition experts. Over the years he has gained many qualifications in the industry and is a recognised strength and condition coach in addition to a personal trainer. He has moved to Chester as he felt the new location was more suitable for his gym, and knows the city does not have anything similar despite having many clients looking for exactly this type of facility.
“I’m really excited to be able to bring BodyHQ to Chester and am looking forward to welcoming my customers to the gym and help them get fitter, healthier and stronger. Hopefully, customers will be able to see there’s something for everyone, and I hope lots of people will come in and see what we can offer them,” continued Chris.
As well as individual and group personal training classes, there will be fitness boot camps on offer at BodyHQ. For more information, please click onto www.bodyhq.co.uk
