ANN ARBOR, Mich. - May 6, 2014 - PRLog -- The Charles Reinhart Company has partnered with United Way of Washtenaw County (http://www.uwwashtenaw.org/) in support of the 5th Annual Community Baby Shower from Thursday, May 1st through Friday, May 30th.

Over 22% of Washtenaw County children live under the poverty line, and the cost of basic needs are rising. Many families are facing the difficult choice between providing food and housing or necessities for their babies. The Community Baby Shower is a way to help give babies and their families a healthy start.

The Charles Reinhart Company is collecting formula, diapers, health care items, baby clothes, wipes, blankets, baby food, pacifiers, pull-ups, bottles, digital thermometers and potty chairs at all of their Sales Offices. Gently used strollers and baby gates will also be accepted.

Items collected will support Alpha House, Catholic Social Services, Child Care Network, Corner Health Center, Home of New Vision, Hope Clinic and SOS Community Services.

“We are delighted to support this United Way effort,” said Dave Lutton, President of the Charles Reinhart Company Realtors.  “We hope that people will find it convenient to drop off their donations at any of our six locations in Ann Arbor, Saline, or Chelsea.”
