Sierraware Unveils SierraVisor Dual Persona, a Complete BYOD Mobile ARM Hypervisor

With SierraVisor Dual Persona, Mobile Devices Can Simultaneously Run a Business VM and a Personal VM.

Sierraware, the embedded virtualization company, today announced the availability of SierraVisor Dual Persona for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) applications. SierraVisor Dual Persona enables mobile device manufacturers and service providers to cost-effectively roll-out smartphones and tablets with a personal-use operating system and a secure, corporate-managed operating system. This is all secured using SierraSHIELD, an ARM TrustZone-based anti-malware engine.

Leveraging Sierraware’s versatile ARM64 (http://www.sierraware.com/arm_hypervisor.html) virtualization platform, SierraVisor Dual Persona offers service providers competitive differentiation and a potential new revenue stream from the lucrative enterprise market. SierraVisor Dual Persona supports leading operating systems such as Linux and Android. With a wide range of supported SOCs ranging from low cost Cortex-A7 and feature rich Coretex-A15, Coretex-A9 and 64-bit ARM architecture like Cortex-A57 and Cortex A53.
