Commercial Real Estate Leaders Host Benefit to Support Diversity & Inclusion Work with Teens

 
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - May 6, 2014 - PRLog -- The Commercial Real Estate Industry in partnership with The American Conference on Diversity will pay tribute to economic-development pillars — Gil Medina of CBRE Group, Inc. and M&T Bank, an emerging community and business development leader in NJ — during our 2014 Commercial Real Estate Luncheon on June 17 (11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ.

Gualberto (Gil) Medina, CBRE Group, Inc. Mr. Medina (shown) joined CBRE’s Saddle Brook office in June 2013 as an Executive Vice President. Applying his extensive real estate and business experience, he is focused on providing and coordinating integrated real estate solutions to corporate, governmental, nonprofit, and academic research organizations. He is responsible for local and global business development across all CBRE service lines including: Office, Industrial, and Retail Brokerage; Asset Services; Project Management; and Financial Consulting. As part of developing and expanding major account service offerings, Mr. Medina provides corporate occupiers with multi-disciplined, high-level strategic advisory expertise. A former New Jersey state commerce secretary, Mr. Medina was the point-person in the creation of incentive, finance, and regulatory programs that constitute the state’s core economic growth policies. He remains a key voice in the New Jersey commercial real estate industry, the larger business community, and public-private sector efforts that are guiding the state’s future economic health. Mr. Medina is an attorney, CPA, and licensed real estate broker who has developed extensive expertise in management, sales, business development, technology, and regulatory matters. Mr. Medina’s extensive recognitions and achievements include being bestowed Rank of Commander in the National Order of Cruzeiro do Sul by the Republic of Brazil, named a “100 Most Influential Hispanics” by Hispanic Business magazine, inducted into the New Jersey Business Hall of Fame, selected as one of New Jersey Monthly’s “101 Most Influential People in the State,” honored as a NJBiz Real Estate Industry “Power 50,” and serving as Camden, NJ, city councilman.

Ms. Mandell is responsible for the commercial real estate, middle market, health care, and not-for-profit lending divisions.
