Sanjeet "Sonny" Veen: Extraordinary Mentor and World Traveler

May 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Several decades ago, Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen came to America to pursue opportunities for a master’s degree.  Through studying and working hard amidst the various barriers that he faced, he was able to persevere and become a successful businessman.  As a result, he is very proud of being able to achieve the American dream.
Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen is a man of many talents and accomplishments.  He is also a world traveler.  He enjoys teaching and cooking from all his world travels.  He highly recommends going to the local festivals, visiting historical sites, as well as finding out where the locals go to experience the cultural bloom of the region.  Between January to February, there are beautiful festivals of light in Shanghai from January to February at Zhujiajiao Water Town, Qibao Old Town, Guyi Garden, Songjiang Pagoda Square, Nanxiang Street, and Yu Gardens.
He has traveled numerous times to South America, Europe, Asia, and throughout North America.  Sonny also loves to write on spirituality and Buddhism, religious studies, gardening, and music.  Helping people is one of his favorite activities.  As a result of his many experiences, especially through traveling around the world, he would like to teach people about the helpful tips that he has learned over the years.  From how to plan out an itinerary, to how to travel on various budgets, to how to pack lightly for a trip, as well as how to get the most out of one’s experiences.  Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen would like to share his secrets on how to have a wonderful vacation filled with lasting memories.  According to him, the best education is to travel abroad and experience the world and all it has to offer.  For him, timing is everything.  Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen can explain the best time to visit locations and the best season to experience the cities.  You can also take advantage of the more affordable or much lower airfare during the off season according to him.  According to Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen, no matter what your budget is, every traveler will be able to appreciate that they can still fully experience the world.
He is currently the manager of an accounting firm in this country.  Prior to this managerial position, he owned and operated his own business.  He is most proud of his academic accomplishments.
In business, his ability to travel the world, and to be able to help young people with skills in writing resumes and applying for jobs.  The biggest influence he has in his life is his dedicated and caring wife, who has been with him during the triumphs and tribulations.  His friends and associates would describe Sonny as open minded, social, knowledgeable, helpful, practical, and easy going.  He attained an MBA in Finance from Wagner College of New York.  In the future, his plan is to pursue a PhD in Psychology.  He would like to become a counselor so he can continue to help people.
