Through Premium Membership doctors gain access to a directory of carefully screened professionals through Attorneys.MD and Accountants.MD. Premium Members browse profiles and search for law and accounting experts who are good matches for their medical specialties. eMD facilitates a no-cost initial consultation, and from that point the relationship between the doctor and attorney or accountant is entirely discretionary and private. The annual Premium Membership cost is more economical than time spent searching for a competent professional and sustaining retainer fees.
The concept has been so well-received that eMD adapted it to another significant area of medical practice overhead – products and ancillary services. eMD for Industry Vendors is a similar directory of profiles for those who support medical practices with devices, durable and nondurable goods, and all types of services to keep equipment and facilities running smoothly.
