Hill St., Genoa, Ill., will see the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon on May 6 when the balloon and its crew visit to present an interactive educational program.
By: RE/MAX Northern Illinois The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon has become an internationally recognized corporate symbol since first taking flight 36 years ago. The balloon appears frequently at festivals, parades and charity events and in the skies of northern Illinois. The program will start at 10:30 a.m. outdoors on the school grounds. The balloon envelope will be inflated with hot air to its full 75-foot height if the program is held outdoors. If the program needs to be moved indoors, the envelope will be partially inflated with cold air so that students can walk inside it as part of the educational experience. Also on hand to enhance the occasion will be a “cold air” version of the RE/MAX Soaring Home Balloon, a house-like inflatable that has become a crowd favorite since being introduced a few years ago. This year the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will be involved in numerous educational programs presented by its crew at schools throughout northern Illinois.
