Needham Bank Helps Locals Feel at Home on Marathon Route

NEEDHAM, Mass. - May 5, 2014 - PRLog -- May 5, 2014, WELLESLEY, MA – During this year’s Boston Marathon, safety was an important consideration for all those attending and running. Needham Bank, a principal sponsor of Hale Reservation of Westwood’s race series, understood this concern and answered with an event that made the families of Team Hale feel right at home.

On Marathon Monday, Hale Reservation, The Dorchester Boys and Girls Club and Wellesley customers of Needham Bank joined together for a BBQ right on the marathon route. This provided a welcoming location for families and customers to view a very special marathon event.

Hale Reservation in Westwood is home to one of the largest day camps in the country. Hale also provides countless opportunities for children of all ages to experience a variety of outdoor activities and learning opportunities through their year-round education programs with schools. Needham Bank has been a continuous supporter of Hale Reservation, most recently with a $10,000 donation as lead sponsor of their summer race series and triathlon.
