Experts in narcolepsy management will describe the evolving knowledge related to its pathophysiology, clinical features, best practices in diagnosis, definitions from new (DSM-5) and emerging (ICSD-3) guidelines, treatment options and associated clinical efficacy and safety data, and challenges in the pediatric population.  Short lecture presentations will be followed by 3 case studies which will include opportunities to identify, through an audience response system (ARS) deficiencies in attendees’ knowledge and clinical decision-making.  Faculty members will then react to audience responses and provide guidance for optimal patient management.  A robust question-and-answer period will enable attendees to ask questions related to their everyday practice, and be provided with up-to-date clinical information.
