SpreadLoveLou: Artists and Poets Lead a City Wide Dialogue in Louisville, KY

Using the arts as a common language in which all share equally as a human right, we are working together to stem violence in our communities through a 4-part event series using poetry / storytelling / video / dance / photography.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - May 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Taking place during Louisville’s Festival of Faiths, @SpreadLoveLou is a city wide event series that promotes a dialogue about violence in the Louisville community.

@SpreadLoveLou is being organized by Lance G. Newman and I.D.E.A.S. 40203 with support of Anthony Smith, Metro Louisville Office of Safe Neighborhoods, Louisville Literary Arts and Nadus Films.

@SpreadLoveLou arose out of the Cities United Program, which is a national partnership to eliminate violence-related deaths of African-American Males - a program of which Mayor Greg Fischer is an advocate.
