American Idol Kimberly Caldwell to Headline Eighties Inspired RunwayLOUD Rock And Fashion Event

BRANSON, Mo. - May 5, 2014 - PRLog -- RunwayLOUD(TM), a new national fundraising event for March of Dimes will debut  at The WELK Resort August the 23rd of 2014. RunwayLOUD(TM) is a high end fashion show mixed with a top-level energetic rock event. This event includes, 30 runway models along with 20 of our local children that will stride in style. Headliners Kimberly Caldwell and local entertainer Matt Gumm will join 80’s cover band Members Only with Springfields Nomadic Pyro Circus for an inspired night of fun and philanthropy.

The one night only RunwayLOUD(TM) show is preceded with a free to the public all day vendor fair and rock concert. The vendor fair includes a children’s zone sponsored by the local YMCA, many booths, street performers, and activities for all ages all to be held on The WELK Resort property. In high fashion style, there will be a V.I.P. area for entertainers and VIP attendees to interact exclusively throughout the day.

When she was asked about joining the RunwayLOUD(TM) event, headliner Kimberly Caldwell said,  “I am very excited to be a part of this fun event, especially because my new single "On The Weekend" is 80's inspired along with the other music I just released on iTunes! Seems like a perfect fit."

Proceeds from the event are going to March of Dimes and Dance Branson. “We’re very happy to be working with March of Dimes and they are our primary beneficiary with 80% of our proceeds going to them. March of Dimes puts over 3 Million dollars in research and support into our communities right here in Missouri. We’re excited to be doing something to give back to an organization that has given so much to our area.” Said Sharra Smith, producer of the RunwayLOUD(TM) Event.

A check presentation will follow the August 23rd event on the 24th in Springfield Missouri at the March of Dimes offices. Sharyn Dawson, the Division Director for March of Dimes, said  “We could not be happier that the Branson area is building support for March of Dimes all on their own with events like this.  Tim Nichols with The Skaggs Foundation is part of a real forward thinking group and we’re excited to have a long term involvement in the area with them through RunwayLOUD(TM).”
