May 5, 2014 - PRLog -- New York, United States – 05.05.2014 – Featuring business peaches from aspirant entrepreneurs aimed at attracting potential investors called sharks; the Shark Tank by creator Kevin Harrington is a reality competition series. The program was launched on 9th August, 2009 and has not looked back since then.

The show runs in a specific manner with budding entrepreneurs making their offers to the potential investor who can strike a deal on the show itself. In fact; the show portrays the “drama of pitch meetings” as well as the “interaction between the entrepreneurs and tycoons”.

It does not mean that whatever pitches the entrepreneur delivers is reproduced as it is. Instead; the version is edited and the abridged version that is almost 1/6th of the original version in terms of time consumed. One of the most prominent aspects of the show is that it depicts in the right manner the desperations and sufferings that are experienced by entrepreneurs having disasters in their business enterprise.

New books on the economy by the author indicate that investors are mostly skeptic about the methodologies used by the entrepreneurs as well as about their business models. Of course while rejecting the proposals some of the investors try to soften their impact while others could be drastically brutal in their approaches. Also deals often fail on the show due to the vetting power exercised by the investors.

One of the interesting things about Shark Tank is that there are many notable panel members that appear in the episodes in tandem instead of repeating the same panel members over and over again. Even Kevin Harrington does not figure in all the episodes that are aired as he was replaced by Mark Cuban in three episodes of Season 2 in 2011 and was completely replaced in 2012, the third season by Mark Cuban. Thus the panel members represent a heterogeneous group among others. While ABC renewed it for the 5th season in 2013 CNBC took over thereafter.

“Terrific concept and great learning tool”, says Jack Wall from United States.  “As an entrepreneur myself, I've dealt with investors and VC's, and I can honestly say that the Sharks are a great representation of real-life”

Many users share the views of Wall and all of them think like new books on the economy, the reality contest is a good platform for interaction between entrepreneurs and potential investors.
