Stephen David Brooks' BINKY Premiering at Dances With Films in Los Angeles California

May 3, 2014 - PRLog -- The Hollywood Reporter and The Wrap have just been announced that Stephen David Brooks' BINKY will be premiered at the Los Angeles based 17th iteration of Dances With Films. BINKY will screen at the world famous Chinese theater in the Hollywood/Highland center between May 29 and June 8, 2014.

BINKY stars Billy 'Sly' Williams and Lucy Jenner. David R. Hardberger was the cinematographer. Brittany Mayti served as co-producer and post sound was handled by Tamara Johnson.

BINKY will also participate in the Shorts Corner at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival from May 14-25.

Stephen David Brooks' debut feature HEADS N TAILZ won the Fusion Audience Award at the 2005 Dances With Films festival. He is currently in post-production on his second feature FLYTRAP. The teaser for FLYTRAP can be found here:

Stephen has had a varied career, having started as a Visual Effects Supervisor under the tutelage of two- time Academy Award Winner John Dykstra. Stephen then became a screenwriter having adapted the Stephen King short story THE MANGLER into a feature film for director Tobe Hooper and Producer Anant Singh. THE MANGLER was released by New Line Cinema in 1995.
