Concentrix Nicaragua received Services Exporter of the Year award

MANAGUA, Nicaragua - May 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Concentrix Corporation’s operation in Nicaragua recently received the Services Exporter of the Year award from the Association of Producers and Exporters of Nicaragua (APEN) for its services exports. The company was recognized for its outstanding services offered to international markets during 2013 in the sixth edition of the Exporter of the Year Awards.

Concentrix opened its operations in Nicaragua in 2008 with a world-class center located in the capital city of Managua. Globally, the company has more than 45,000 employees in 36 countries after acquiring IBM’s customer care and industry process services business.

Chris Caldwell, President of Concentrix, said the corporation found hard working, loyal and qualified personnel—the foundation of the industry—in Nicaragua. APEN is a private, non-profit organization that has worked for over two decades to strengthen and promote export of Nicaraguan products and services. The Exporter of the Year Awards recognize small, medium and large enterprises linked to traditional and non-traditional product trade in Nicaragua in six categories: Revelation Exporter, Friend of the Environment Company, Most Associative Exporter, Corporate Social Responsibility, Services Exporter, and Female Exporter of the Year.
