SIGNLite provides overnight rebranding for Yale-New Haven acquisition

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. - May 7, 2014 - PRLog -- With a trusted partnership that has spanned over 25 years, North Haven, Conn.’s SIGN Lite was Yale-New Haven Hospital’s first choice to help rebrand the newly acquired Hospital of Saint Raphael with a need for more than 200 internal and external signs and outdoor kiosks. The two combined New Haven healthcare providers, under the nationally acclaimed Yale-New Haven Hospital name, formed the fourth-largest medical center in the country.

“This was an extensive project and had to be completed virtually overnight,” explained Elaine DeTulio, SIGNLite president. “As soon as the documents were signed completing the acquisition, the signage on the former Saint Raphael buildings had to be transitioned to Yale-New Haven signage to meet federal and state regulations.

“SIGNLite is fortunate to have both the relationship with Yale-New Haven Hospital to work with them on this project and the resources to make this happen in the brief timeframe we were allotted.”

The project included both internal and external building signage as well as free-standing kiosks throughout the hospital campus and at satellite locations in Branford and Hamden, CT. In less than two weeks, 200 additional sign faces were in place including the painting of all directional signs and rebranding of other signage on the campus.
