The Super Serious Show Presents Andy Peters’ Album Recording Show

May 1, 2014 - PRLog -- On May 7, 2014, the team that brings you The Super Serious Show is proud to present Andy Peters’ Album Recording Show at The Virgil in Los Angeles. With a 7 p.m. pre-show that features music, a food truck and drink specials, Andy Peters’ album recording show kicks off at 8 p.m. with openers Karen Kilgariff (Mr. Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show) and Eddie Pepitone (Conan, Edinburgh Fringe Festival). Andy Peters is the host of the mobile man-on-the-street podcast Wandertown and has fearlessly toured the country with his “loud, silly, spontaneous” comedy. Peters is a veteran of numerous festivals, including Bridgetown Comedy Fest, Just for Laughs Chicago, High Plains Comedy Fest, and has been seen on the truTV show, Clipaholics.

“The album recording show is a chance to see a long form version of my act,” Peters says. “If you have ever seen me do seven minutes and thought, ‘There is no way he can do that for an hour,’ come to the show. You will see!”

A mainstay of the Los Angeles comedy scene, Peters enjoys getting to the audience like no other. Along with his typically irreverent topics, Peters has the skills to go off script and still get the laughs.

“I just always had a natural penchant for making up a lot of my act,” says Peters. “The funnest part of performing for me is creating those moments that neither myself or the audience saw coming.”

Peters looks forward to recording his album at The Virgil. “It is just a great, intimate space,” he says. “I really like to be able to see and interact with the first couple of rows of a theatre. The Virgil is perfect for that.”
