May 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Nashville, TN: Alternative rock outfit The Nearly Deads are set to release their highly-anticipated debut album Invisible Tonight, on Tuesday June 24. In conjunction with digital distribution via TuneCore, the band also launched a 60-day Kickstarter campaign on April 16 that includes 35 rewards and one-of-a-kind experiences for people who back the project. Racing to 60% of the goal in the first ten days, it's validation of the height of anticipation for an album a year in the making.

Tonight's first taste was served up on April 8th as the album's lead single "I Said"made its rip-roaring debut, instantly creating a stir on social media and quickly asserting itself as both a fan favorite and a critical darling. Stacked with emotional strength and brimming with confident self-awareness, PureVolume anointed it "a defiant piano-driven anthem".

Nearly Deads' front-woman Theresa Jeane recalls the song's genesis from seven years ago, "'I Said' is a song I wrote when I was still sleeping in my van every night. This song goes way back for me. I wrote it at a time where I was fed up with being held back by guys I was dating, and I realized that I was strong enough to go it alone. I used to play this song in my old Tampa, FL band, Blondes Not Bombs. I was listening to a lot of Something Corporate at the time. When I combined forces with The Nearly Deads, this was one of the songs we had to make our own."

Future singles include the fist-pumping anthem "Paper Doll," the soaring ballad "In The Morning," and the climatic title track whose sentiments are the album's emotional core. TJ explains Invisible, "We are very proud of this album. We have been through a lot of changes as a band over the past year, and at some points I found myself just wanting to give up. I felt like people wanted me to be invisible, and that my voice wasn't being heard. Instead of letting it break me down, I turned that experience into something positive with the lyrics for 'Invisible Tonight'. I'm declaring in front of everybody- this is hard, I don't know if I have what it takes to do this sometimes, but that's ok. It's something you have to conquer in order to be successful. The concept for the artwork conveys that feeling of being anonymous."

Having just wrapped up the incendiary BraveHeart Tour with LA hard-rockers Stitched Up Heart, The Nearly Deads are set to sync up with Minneapolis heatseekers City of the Weak and Detroit buzzband Kaleido, on the Paper Dolls Tour, as they canvas the Midwest and East coast from May 15 - June 3. The band will then play the Miller Lite Main Stage at PrideFest in Milwaukee, WI on Saturday June 7. Other artists scheduled to perform include Macy Gray, Mary Lambert, Big Freedia, Steve Grand, Beverly McClellan and Lisa Lampanelli (http://pridefest.com/2014/03/10/the-nearly-deads-saturday-june-7-miller-lite-mainstage). From there, the quintet will hit the road with Philly pop-punk outfit Rivers Monroe on a 13-state Invisible Tonight Tour, culminating with a hometown record release show in Nashville on Sunday June 29.

Originally formed in Tampa, Florida, before relocating to the music mecca of Nashville three years ago, The Nearly Deads emit polished grit. Led by the gripping vocal embrace of Miss Jeane, her classical training is evident in the power and range of her voice, while her pop and punk influences shine through in her lyrics and captivating melodies. Matching her emotional countenance with a potent combination of agility and sensibility, guitarists Steven Tobi and Javier Garza Jr, along with bassist Kevin Koelsch and drummer Josh Perrone, layer her fertility with a sturdy cloak of conductivity.

It's this majesty of chemistry that fuels their consummate combustion of exposition. Touring the U.S. extensively for years, the band has shared bills with the likes of Halestorm, All-American Rejects, Tonight Alive, Warner Drive, Man Overboard, Sick of Sarah,  Cherri Bomb, Captain Capa, Darling Parade and Stitched Up Heart and have cratered stages at Summerfest, Vans Warped Tour and Journey's Backyard BBQ.

From studio to stage to the written page, The Nearly Deads continue to amass wide-spread critical acclaim throughout the industry. Crowned victors in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and a Converse Battle of the Bands competition, the band has received significant airplay on MTVu, FUSE, BlankTV, Vevo and YouTube, achieved glowing features in Absolute Punk, Alt Press, ARTISTdirect, Outburn, PureVolume, Revolver and Substream Magazine and rose to #14 on the Billboard Next Big Sound Chart.
