Groundbreaking Ceremony for ISS a Non-Profit who Services Adults with Disabilities

FRW/ISS A Non-Profit on the Move to Achieve Independence through Employment

 
PRLog - May 1, 2014 - FONTANA, Calif. -- The Fontana Rehabilitation Workshop, Inc. dba Industrial Support Systems a 501 (3) (c) non-profit organization that services adults with disabilities for the past fifty years. ISS core mission and focused since 1964 until present has always been Achieving Independence through Employment for their consumers. On May 16, 2014 at 1:30 pm the organization will break ground for their new home at 8608 Live Oak Avenue, Fontana, CA 92335. The benefits of the organization relocating will provide an enhancement of the quality of services in a more modernized facility for the comfort of our consumers.  The building designed by Lord Constructors, Inc. Vice President Gregg S. Lord is a well known and sought after general contractor within the Inland Empire. Gregg and his design team are working closely with ISS organization Executives to make sure the building supersedes the quality of services offered.

As a non-profit who is committed to the mission of exceeding customer expectations, this move is not only monumental, but a must for Industrial Support Systems. The relocation will place the organization in a more efficient financial position. Enhancing the quality of services and curb appeal as a non-profit on the move.  A few of the design features are: A fully insulated production space, an energy efficient fan professional called (Big Ass Fan) to help control energy costs while enhancing human comfort.  Unlike your typical fans, Big Ass Fans couple energy-efficient motors with patented airfoil designs, which are inspired by airplane wings, to move large volumes of air quietly and efficiently, a commercial kitchen where the organization is able to provide well balanced meals to the consumers in addition to offer restaurant training, enhancing the quality of life for all we serve. Adding the commercial kitchen not only offers options for a well-balanced lifestyle. In addition a service to provide employment whereas individuals will be able to seek a career path in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

In support of the organization progress within the Fontana community a host of special guests will be in attendance: Senator Norma  Torres, 32nd State Senate District; Janice Rutherford, San Bernardino County 2nd District Supervisor; Assemblymember Cheryl Brown, 47th Assembly District ; Fontana Mayor Acquanetta Warren; Fontana Chamber of Commerce and a host of other City Officials. Special Appearance by Inland Empire 66ERS Mascot “Bernie” and Special thanks to Industrial Support Systems Community and Employment Partners CVS/CAREMARK and Sam’s Club Ontario and Riverside locations for their sponsorship support.
