Best-selling author Dani Shapiro returns to discuss her lastest work "Still Writing", a heartfelt and practical look at the process of storytelling. At the Oliver Wolcott Library on Thursday, May 15 from 7:00- 8:00 p.m.
 
LITCHFIELD, Conn. - April 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Best-selling author Dani Shapiro returns to discuss her latest work Still Writing, a witty, heartfelt, and practical look at the process of storytelling. Writers and anyone with an artistic temperament will find inspiration and comfort in these pages. Offering lessons learned over twenty years of teaching and writing, Shapiro brings her own revealing insights to weave an indispensable almanac for modern writers.

Dani Shapiro is the bestselling author of the memoirs Devotion and Slow Motion, and five novels including Black & WhiteandFamily History. Her work has appeared in numerous publications including The New Yorker, Elle, and The Los Angeles Times. She has taught in the writing programs at Columbia, NYU, The New School and Wesleyan University, and she is co-founder of the Sirenland Writers Conference in Positano, Italy.
