The super talented Joel Savoy founded Valcour Records in 2006, and it has since become the number one source for what's happening with the up-and-coming generation of musicians from Acadiana. Growing up in Eunice, Louisiana, literally at the feet of legendary Cajun fiddlers like Dennis McGee, Dewey Balfa, Michael Doucet, and Wade Fruge, Joel developed a strong sense of what makes Cajun music 'Cajun' and developed a fiddle style that is at once authentic, outstanding and at the forefront. One of the most requested fiddlers in SW Louisiana today, Joel received the Fiddler of the Year Award in 2007. In 2011, his Valcour Records, released Grammy® award-winning Best Regional Roots album featuring the Band Courtbouillon, a super-group of some of Cajun music’s best talent singing the songs they grew up with. With no gimmicks, and very honest production, the recording is authentic, entertaining and full of great tunes that you don't want to miss.

Multi Talented crowd favorite, Wilson Savoy won the 2013 Grammy® with The Band, Courtboullion in the Regional Roots category along with three Grammy nominations in 2008, 2009, and 2011 for best Cajun/Zydeco Album, for his work with the Pine Leaf Boys. Wilson is inspired by the styles of his heroes, accordionists Iry Lejeune, Amede Ardoin and naturally his father Marc Savoy. Wilson also plays in the Savoy Family Band, and has clocked in major screen time by appearing on HBO's "Treme" playing himself in three episodes, as well as in the film "All the King's Men" with Sean Penn and John Goodman. In February, Wilson performed on national television during the NBA All-star game in New Orleans. Along with Cajun accordion, Wilson sings and plays piano and fiddle – all equally fabulously.

Kelli Jones-Savoy will be teaching old time Cajun style music and dance at this year’s Festival. The “Jolie Blonde’ of the band T’ Monde Kelli, Started out playing old-time fiddle. She soaked up Cajun music and culture playing with bands such as Magnolia Sisters, Double Date, and with her father Carl Jones, and many wonderful local Louisiana musicians, including members of the Pine Leaf Boys, the Red Stick Ramblers, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, and her fellow band mates Drew Simon and Megan Brown. She has also traveled beyond Louisiana to perform and teach at festivals throughout the United States, including Ashokan Fiddle & Dance Camp, Augusta Heritage Center Cajun and Creole week and Festival of American Fiddle Tunes.

Deborah Monlux , producer, founded Bayou 'n Brooklyn in 2011, paving the way for cultural exchange through music dance art and folklore, and played a prominant role in promoting Cajun music in Brooklyn, New York.  Jesse Lege, a world-renowned Louisiana accordion player and vocalist is a strong supporter and festival luminary for the musicians and bands passionate about this rich musical genre. Bands this year are: Li'l Mo & The Monicats, Jesse Lege & Bayou Brew, Empty Bottle Ramblers, Cataoula Cajun Band, Krewe de la Rue, Emily Duff Band,  Dr. Zsa's Powdered Zydeco and Church Point Riot.
