Having grown to nearly two million users, Todoist is strengthening the role files play in one’s to-do list in anticipation for its upcoming enterprise release for businesses.
Attach files from any task, from any project.
With both native support and integrations with Dropbox and Google Drive, Todoist becomes the singular location to achieve anything that needs to get done. Free users who have shared projects with others will be able to attach files like images, documents, and spreadsheets from within Todoist– and Dropbox and Google Drive– directly from the web to any task, from any project. Those free users who have not shared any projects will not be able to access the Files features.
Premium users will see truly awesome benefits from the updated Todoist and, for 48 hours (starting today at 9:00am Eastern Daylight Time), Todoist is offering a 30% discount on the $29/year price.
Todoist Premium users can access files from anywhere as well as attach and share files to tasks via the web. Other key Premium features include:
Record and play audio files: useful for adding quick notes when you don’t have time to type;
Mobile support for files: add photos and any other items directly from iOS and Android mobile devices to tasks;
Visually beautiful interface: see in-task thumbnails and file icons based on each file type.
All files added to Todoist will also be available to share. Task and project sharing with Todoist was introduced this January and has been instrumental in increasing users’ productivity, allowing for unlimited task delegation and cross-platform collaboration.
“With this release, we are making files first class citizens of all the 13 platforms we support. The user experience is especially great on mobile devices, no matter what kind of file you’re uploading,” comments the CEO and founder of Todoist, Amir Salihefendic.
One of the first available task-management softwares on the market, Todoist– launched in 2007– is a powerful task manager for personal productivity that lets users manage tasks from their inbox, browser, desktop, or mobile device. Todoist is available on thirteen different platforms and is used by close to two million people (many from Fortune 100 Companies like IBM, Oracle, and HP) who have completed more than 50 million tasks in over 6 million projects.
