Hedgepeth, Heredia, Crumrine & Morrison Partner Wayne Morrison Named President, Cobb Bar Association

ATLANTA - April 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Wayne A. Morrison, founding partner at Hedgepeth, Heredia, Crumrine & Morrison in Atlanta, has been named President of the Cobb County Bar Association Family Law Section. Organized to promote excellence and professionalism among Family Law practitioners in Cobb County, the section also fosters collegiality between judges and attorneys, which extends to  courtrooms and mediation sessions.

Morrison practices in all areas of family law, including divorce and separation, and is an experienced Guardian ad Litem, advising courts on matters concerning the interests of children. His honors, recognitions and community service include:

Additionally, he has served as a guest speaker on radio talk shows discussing recent developments in family law. He is admitted to practice in the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, U.S. District Court (Northern District of Georgia), and the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

Morrison earned his B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech in 1989 and his J.D. from the University of Georgia in 1996. Prior to law school, he was a financial analyst for a Fortune 500 company, where he analyzed and audited financial statements, an experience that enhances his ability to comprehend complex business valuations and to understand tracing of commingled funds.

Morrison is very involved in the community, where he serves on the Board of Directors for the McClesky East Cobb / Northeast Cobb YMCA (he’s a past Board president). He actively serves his church community, volunteering in several capacities including mentoring teens and teaching Sunday school. Morrison lives in East Cobb, where he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and coaching various sports teams.
