What Moms Really Want for Mother’s Day Doesn’t Cost a Dime

MONROE, Wash. - April 28, 2014 - PRLog -- The Rock Church (Monroe, WA) conducted a survey and asked moms what they most wanted for Mother’s Day. The responses overwhelmingly pointed to gifts that couldn’t be wrapped and cost only time, not money. The top six most mentioned items were:

#6. Let Mom run the remote control or pick the entertainment for the day.
#5. Give Mom a break from cooking and fix all of the meals for the day AND clean the kitchen. (Why stop there?)
#4. Tell Mom you love her, however you do it: with a hug, a note on the fridge, a letter in the mail, or a straight up, "I Love You!"
#3. Make a handmade memento: fashion a card, write a poem, take a photo, construct a photo frame, or create a memory.
#2. Share your dreams: tell her what you want to become and how you'd like your life to be when you grow up (even if you’re not sure) or share a goal you’re striving for.

What topped the list at #1, said by every Mom we asked, was that they wanted their families to attend church with them.
