Los Angeles Dodgers Star Pitcher Clayton Kershaw pitched a near perfect five innings in front of the sellout crowd of 5,152 at LoanMart Field, home of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. The Dodgers Single A affiliate Quakes were taking on Lancaster JetHawks on the series opener Friday, which also happened to be Brian Wilson bobble-head night.
Thousands of fans waited outside LoanMart Field for hours to see Kershaw and to pick up the limited edition Brian Wilson bobble-head. Kershaw, a two-time Cy Young award winner went on to have a strong start with only 2 hits allowed including a solo home run. Kershaw pitched 5 innings in a loss to the JetHawks at LoanMart Field.
