Hedgepeth, Heredia, Crumrine & Morrison Partner Rebecca Crumrine Rieder Named to Super Lawyer List

ATLANTA - April 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Rebecca Crumrine Rieder, founding partner of Hedgepeth, Heredia, Crumrine & Morrison in Atlanta, has been honored with several accolades recently, including Atlanta magazine’s Super Lawyers list and Super Lawyers’ list of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Georgia. She was also granted fellowship in the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Crumrine Rieder was granted a fellowship from the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). AAML Fellows are highly skilled attorneys who represent their clients in all facets of family law. Only about forty attorneys in Georgia have achieved this qualification.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The list appeared in the March 2014 issue of Atlanta magazine.

In March, Super Lawyers selected her as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Georgia.

Prior to practicing law, Crumrine Rieder taught middle and high school at Davidson Fine Arts School in Augusta, Georgia. She continues teaching as an adjunct professor at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School.

Crumrine Rieder received her undergraduate degree from the University of the South in 1991, her MEd from the University of Georgia in 1994, and her JD degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2001.  She spent her formative years in Augusta, Georgia, graduating from Augusta Preparatory School. Her immediate family continues to reside in Augusta, including her brother and sister-in-law, owners of Crums on Central.

She is very involved in the community, including volunteer leadership roles with Breakthru House and Neighbor in Need, Inc. She is a member of the Leadership DeKalb class of 2012, and volunteers for Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and DeKalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation as a Pro Bono Guardian ad Litem for families in need. She also serves on the board for the Dekalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.

She lives with her husband Doug in the Dunwoody neighborhood of Atlanta.
