May 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Egypt – 05/01/2014 – Many teen girls have a difficult time bridging the gap between young adult and womanhood. When it comes time to leave their families and strike out on their own it can be tricky. Kimberly Loth offers a glimpse into problems that a young woman trapped in a religious cult faces while trying to strike out into the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Searching to find your true worth can be tricky when you’re not used to the customs, especially when you’ve never known the power of being “Kissed” (ISBN 978-0-9903177-0-8).

Trapped in a dark cult, sixteen-year-old Naomi Aren lives a quiet unhappy life nestled deep in the hills of the Ozarks. With uncut hair and denim skirts, Naomi seldom questions why her life is different from the other kids at school. With only a greenhouse full of roses as her friends, she realizes she has to escape when her father announces her pending marriage. She escapes to her Aunt Ginny who lives in Las Vegas. Naomi tries to shed her church imposed shell while living in Sin City. She begins to break free and uncover secrets with the help of a few stolen midnight kisses.

Naomi Aren is young, scared and ready for a new life, but she can’t leave her old one behind until she comes to terms with the truth. From the opening pages, Naomi beckons to readers from her religious prison. This is a story for anyone that wishes to root for someone to break free of their bonds.

The book’s style will appeal to anyone who had it rough in their teenage years, but can still remember their first true kiss. It is a fast-paced story of self-discovery, finding the truth, and first love all coming together through roses and kisses. “Kissed” (ISBN 978-0-9903177-0-8) is available from Amazon.
