By: IAPEN-Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolis The Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (IAPEN) is an organization in the field of parenteral and enteral nutrition and promotes basic research, clinical research, advanced education, organization of consensus statements about clinical care and quality control. The First National Conference on Advances in Perinatal and Pediatric Nutrition is hosted and organized by Department of Home Science, St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, Kerala in collaboration with Kochi Regional Centre, The Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (IAPEN) on 3rd July to 4th July 2014 at St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. In order to promote Advanced Education in Perinatal and Pediatric Nutrition and to facilitate the academic pursuits of more number of Pediatricians, Obstetricians, Clinical Nutritionists, Dieticians, Nurses and Midwives from the educational institutions, hospitals and meternary nursing home etc., The Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism announces the First National Conference on Perinatal and Pediatric Nutrition with Advanced Workshop on Perinatal and Pediatrics in Ernakulam, Kerala. A nationally renowned faculty will provide the latest and most relevant approaches to critical nutrition issues for these patient populations. The conference will present content in a wide array of teaching styles such as didactic lectures, extensive question and answer and group discussion sessions, group workshops, and ample networking opportunities. Through this variety of teaching/learning styles, the faculty will enhance the knowledge of health care specialists in the nutritional components of maternal, infant and childhood care. The National Conference on Advances in Perinatal and Pediatric Nutrition will provide an up to-date, informative insight into core nutritional aspects required for maternal, infant and childhood care.
